I thought it was a pretty average mass last night, dunno why.. couldn't feel any vibe going on. Maybe it was the Paramedic stuck in traffic at the beginning

I thought it was excellent. Nice compact group, a little stop at Buckingham Palace....

I didn’t think it was anywhere near as good as the last few times either, there didn’t seem to be anywhere near enough corking going on and the ride seemed to get massively split almost from the IMAX roundabout because cars were getting mixed in and blocking the route etc.
Maybe the regular corkers were all at the polo party but it seemed like maybe too many narrow busy roads too, last month going down oxford street also seemed to split the ride massively because it was super busy. At times it felt quite a bit more dangerous to me because I saw quite a few cars race into holes which has been left open rather than the usual wall of bikes. To me it seemed that the ride was tiny in comparison by the time we got to b.palace, then again maybe I was just in the wrong bit of the pack/pissed off from nearly being shunted by a taxi…

Seems to be far too many people taking advantage of corking, but not getting involved.
It's much easier for a motorist to get the arse with one or two people as opposed to 15-20.
Pace was crazy slow last night as well, spent a lot of time with one foot down. Not sure Leicester Sq. area is a good idea either, too many peds. Heard more shitty comments from peds then from drivers....
-
• #44
yeah but the peds are drivers.

• #45
just seemed far to slow. still enjoyed it just hope the next one is better

+1 to dommyracer
i didn't like it much last night,
For a spontaneous event some traits are slipping in, too much staying around in the centre of london (creating unnecessary angst imo) and visiting buckingham palace and smithsfield again -

yeah but the peds are drivers.
Not sure what you are aiming for here- but it sounds rather like a call to lump anyone without a bike into "them" of us and them.
Not very helpful I would say- damaging to cycling as a whole if that is what you actually mean.

yeah but the peds are drivers.
Did you ask them all?
I'll be going after Crispin Glover's sugguestion
