What do you drive? Must be something fairly potent if the discs and pads are £640!!
Not cheap:

It had to be something along those lines. I almost passed out when I had to replace the discs and pads on my Brembo's on my old R32 GTR.
I ended up giving up with quick cars. Have a nice sensible estate running on LPG now. Perfect for carting my bikes around so I can get my kicks!!
Interested to know what those AP's are bolted to mind ;-)

Loving the tartan rug over the back seats, Dammit.

A chap in Leicestershire works on mine- acknowledged as the best in the UK for these cars.
Plus he is very reasonable in terms of pricing- it costs me £60 in fuel to get there and back, and he is still cheaper than any local garage.

you must pay him well.
£200 for the whole car.
He polished off the top layer of the paint then waxed it, both with a device akin to an orbital sander.
When I got it the sun had started to oxidise the paint, so it had that mottled pink look.
No more- it is back to being a deep red.

When I get the money together it is going to be have a bit of work done to up the Q car factor.
Trying to decide between Garrett 2871 or 3076.

Can see the car now, like it!
-
• #71
Cheers, bought it as I could fit the bikes in the back without taking them to bits, plus it's fairly quick.
Now sell me those hubs for less money please!
-
• #72
This is my lowly estate;
Its hardly the quickest thing on the planet, but it does haul me and my kit around quite well.
As for the hubs, sorry mate!!
-
• #73
I suggest that we settle this with a race- Santa Pod or Thruxton, choice is yours.
If you win I'll pay your asking price, if not the hubs are mine? -
• #74
or just have a good old bike race?
-
• #75
BTW.. what was the asking price for DA?
