Yo, Saturday morning early registration ends at 8:30. Train to liverpool leaves cam at 6:32 arriving at 7:43. Or Cam to Kings X leaving 6:45 arriving 7:34.. anything later is probably too late. arg. Or are we riding in the mystery machine?

...inspired by the weekend and after a brief chat with Lee, I finished work and then sat in the garden and cut away at my beater frame.

No more nasty cable guides...

No more braze-ons or gear hanger. Full length drop outs...

Harvey, I know I've been banging on about track ends but I figured I should at least have a go myself and if I screwed up the drop outs then I can always fall back on track ends anyway!

I'm taking the frame down to Bicycle Ambulance today to get the headset and bottom bracket/chainset looked at so if I can get my wheels back this week and the weather is fine then this Sunday polo is on!

(If someone could loan me a mallet for this weekend I would be absolutely so grateful)

what a cracking weekend it was, big props must go to the Fen Boy Three who stormed through the first day and put up an excellent fight on the second. Defeating Zombie United made the weekend. massive big up to team handsome and team cream for being awesome, and angelo, devon, power, josie, alice, julian, rachel, feb et al for coming down and supporting us all. the weekend is now just a big blur but will be fondly remembered.

my favourite moment of the weekend was playing ireland (after looking back, it was both of our teams last ditch effort to get through to the second day) the atmosphere we got was incredible and i know i had one of the biggest rushes of adrenaline ever during and after playing, and really felt the love of polo and the love of my team, you guys rock. cannot wait to try grass polo in ireland and meeting those guys again.

not sure what happened to me on the first day, but thanks for keeping an eye on me you know who you are.

Picked my bike up at lunchtime, going to strip and maybe prime it tonight (weather permitting). Collecting the wheelset and rebuilding on Thursday in time for the weekend!
