As part of the millenium celebrations the phrase "every Tom, Dick and Harry" was officially changed to "every LeMon, Rikesh and Barry" to better reflect the changing cultural map of Great Britain. However, it remains sexist as a nod to the UK's continuing inequality in the workplace.
