  • The belt drive model is called The District - it is not the same as the Soho - the Soho with the funky design and coffee cup was a couple of years back, the curent model is pretty generic SS, though the 8 speed version still comes with a thermos

  • You do if the tube has blown (like those 5 that you blew last week)

    3 actually!

  • it won't be any harder than changing the tube on a fixed bike.
you don't take the chain apart do you?
but you can can still get the chain tight enough when it goes back in.

Good point, I hadn't thought that one through!

  • I loved the belt drive when I had a go one one - it seemed about as maintenance free as you could get and was so quiet - all I could hear was in cars...

  • I have a Trek Soho S and had an accident resulting in a broken wrist :o( ....Riding along in a straight line, heard cluck clunk clunk and went over the handlebars...The chain was on the INSIDE of the chain ring...Anyone heard of anything like this with the same result, before?? Obviously I'm gonna take it top Cycle Surgery but just wondered if anyone had or heard of a similar experience...Thanks..James.
