  • ..that came to pick me up from Polo at Downham road on saturday. Sorry. I didnt get your name, but I remember you told me you were on here, and you were gone before I got a chance to thank you properly for picking me up, even though I wasnt that badly injured.

(For everyone that wasnt there, I got a mallet to the head, resulting in a small but deep cut across my lip that was beautifully stitched back to gether at the London)

Anyway, thanks again to you two, and everyone else at the Royal London who took care of me, for picking up after people like me who insist on playing fun but stupid sports like bicycle polo..

  • Aww, hope the lip heals up fast!

  • I'm not really surprise that you're giving praise about them, after all the ambulance in London are the quickest responding in Europe.

  • was it this guy?

  • Bloody typical; finally some blood and I'm not there. Hope your face is soon back to it's previous beauty.

I guess thats not my good side any more..and I lost that hat on wednesday whilst being chased across covent garden by a chav with a stick.

  • John, it is simply not your week. Can we go to the park and drink now?

  • I just missed it! Will see you soon to laugh at your new gash ;)

  • the time has come....

  • I believe the forumenger named Kurt is a paramedic, could be your man.

  • damn, missed the bloodshed! were the kids around to see exactly why we were insisting they wear helmets in practice? whos mallet was it?

Heal up soon dude, hope it doesnt scar too badly!

  • heal up Jhon.

And this can't be said enough: no end of respect to EMTs, Parametics, ambulance crews and Fire brigades.

To be specific, I'm an EMT. Hopefully be a Paramedic by Xmas. Same sort of thing, just thought I'd be clear as some on here are aware of the difference.

Anyway, wasn't me I'm afraid. Bit out of my area, I'm based at Woolwich.

@OP hope you're ok and heal up quick.

    Peace

    Kurt
