it's not usually idea because you'd need to keep your feet straight otherwise you'd unclip yourself, risky when brakeless.
Other thing I found was that I never knew when I was unclipped or not cos there's no positive 'unclip' action, so sometimes I'd try and put my foot down and....well you can imagine (and the whole of Wests saw...)...Not so suitable for fixed gear riding methinks.
