Im in London on saturday, was looking foward to whizzing about on my bike, getting a "feel" for riding in the capital like you lot, and checking out some of the fancy HHSB in the shops perhaps.
Unfortunately im still without a ride after I broke it a couple of weeks ago! So will feel all envious when I see some fellow fixie fanciers nipping about.
If anyone is ever up in Birmingham (I know very unlikeley!) Just wanna mention, I always have one or two spare bikes im happy to let people borrow. Can provide a tour of the few nice spots to ride aswell.. lol.

hello London!
i'm from Los Angeles and i'll be in london tonight for about a week or so. i was wondering if anyone has a 50-51 frame (road, single speed, fixed) i could borrow for a week while i'm in london. i've spent the last several weeks in dublin where i borrowed matt81's single speed. if you need character reference, you may contact him.
i've been cycling since i was a kid, and have lots of city and touring experience.
thanks so much!
cheers! -

thanks! if these are the qualifications to be able to borrow a bike from a kind londoner, then i should be expecting a flood of offers?
please let me borrow a bike. i don't need anything fancy. a beater would suffice.
thanks, guys! -

Thanks

will you be staying in Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire, and what size bike do you need?
-

Yes, in Garden City. I ride Rossin fixie 54 cm but it is too small. i think 56-58 would be good with flat bar. So fixie or single is what i look for but mtb is allright. I think at least front break would be good because your trafik is on the other side.

Heyo.
So I need another bike.. ya i know, i need stuff often. But my friend from Chicago is coming this weekend for a few days and I really dont feel like having to take public transport just cause she is without wheels, and she loves to bike.
But ya, Im just wondering if anyone has any kind of bike she might be able to borrow from Saturiday till about Wednesday? Doesn't need to be fixed or single or even a road bike, just something with wheels that rides.
Shes a really cool chick and will definitely be down to party with everyone.
Thanks a ton.
