  • Is it possible/ advisable to convert this to a fixie? I'm hoping to get it down to under 40lbs! lol nah a mate just wants to try a fixie so I said I'd knock one together for him, although I do wonder if this old tank might put him off cycling forever....

    With cheap Mountain Bikes like this, the bb and the back wheel are both connected to the sprung part, largely negating the point of having suspension.

  • Those awful things are a fine example of how to do things wrong and a waste of resources. Surely you can get your hands on something better?
