Hi I have this problem too, no luck so far. I still have the old dust cap but it is damaged (it comes loose sometimes and also the seal around the hub cone is not so good) so I am going to try glueing a washer with a 16mm hole onto the dustcap. As the cone on this side is 15mm in diameter this should give a gap of 0.5mm around the cone, should be enough I reckon.
