Asda Bike Advert

Shit bikes like this (albeit the German versions) were one of the reasons why I got into cycling properly much too late for my taste. I only had a bike like this when I was growing up and when I bought my first decent bike, it was an absolute revelation. Up to that point, I'd simply been prevented from enjoying cycling as much. I didn't have a clue. If this sort of crap stopped being sold, prices of decent bikes would come down, too.

It makes me angry every time I see people having problems with their cheap purchases, both because I wish they hadn't bought it and because I wish it had never been produced and offered for sale.
