That was me that was, it was just after my 'dark ages' period.
The thing is a media lawyer (even music contract specialist) lawyer will no nothing about PRS or MCPS or PPL or mechanical or . . . . anywhere else where you actually make your money, really it is quite shocking, I have signed a few record deals, a few publishing deals, always done with really good - very highly respected lawyers who are specialists in these areas, but rarely do they know the whole picture from deal memos to TVRs . . .
It would be like expecting a doctor to be an expert in several fields, they will tend to be expert in one area, even the most expert trichologist would't have a clue about early stage obesity complications in children.
