• her appetite for pornography is astounding.

  • I heard as a rule she always calls at least 4 of her very attractive female friends to come round and get into bed before sex.

  • I don't have sex with her - that's greasy's job.

i just knock off the pies and the ganja.

You must have been my neighbour when I lived in Earls Court, the girls from Berlin where always noisy and kept posing naked in the window.

  • Oh shit was that you!
I didn't realise they were from Berlin, by the way I wasn't being rude that time I declined to partake in the orgy you invited me to, but they were showing the last episode in the season of heroes on BBC2, and that kinda thing doesn't happen often yanno?

  • never mind there is always next time with the twins from Columbia.....

Some friends of mine owned a top floor flat on Eardley Crescent for a while, I can safely say he had the best view in London... It was as if all the exhibitionists in London had moved in over the road from him... Quite bizarre going over there for dinner sometimes... :S

  • loads up streetview

  • :)

  • That is, what would surprise you least?

I know this will prompt a long long discussion about stereotypes, how there's no such thing as 'normal', and how you can't generalize, etc. etc., but I'm genuinely interested to find out what people think about this.

And I'm actually wondering more about how you see your friends and acquaintances than your own standards. (e.g. I'm not remotely the moving-in type myself, but that doesn't stop me being slightly amazed when a couple have been together for 6 years and are still living apart, and worried/sceptical when friends move in together after dating for less than a month.)

My advice is always to give it at least a year before moving in together. And I almost always have ignored this very advice to my own detriment. On the other hand, my wife and I waited about two years before moving in together (we obviously weren't married at the time) and we're still together.

  • There are no options for:

    1. When you get married
    2. After you have visited a mosque together
    3. Whenever, so long as you have a front brake
    4. It depends on her chain tension
    5. Just make sure you wear a helmet
    6. When Tynan says you can
    7. As soon as you can to get away from your parents who won't allow you to ride a fixie.
  • ^ Arf at option 7... ;]

  • I'd leave it for about 2 years unless she had either a beach house in Malibu or a room just for bikes.

  • Depends if her house is nicer than yours really.

  • Depends if her house is nicer than yours really.

That's all your girlfriends isn't it?

  • Whenever your Mum kicks you out or refuses to carry on doing your washing.

  • Depends if her house is nicer than yours really.

In MOC's case it definitely was!

    • How long should you wait before making the first phone call
    • How long should you wait before sending/responding to a text
    • Should you have sex on the first, second or third date...
and the list goes on :)

English people and the art of not losing face in a relationship.

  • wow, look at all those months of effort of going round to other people's houses you guys have voted for.

    :D

    Lolness!

    ;)

  • If she is fit and her dad owns a brewery and loaded then about a week is fine by me.

Most unlikely scenario in the world

    :D

    [bitter experience]

Beats the effort it takes in getting out when you don't look before you jump

    [/bitter experience]

  • Are there really rules for this sort of thing?

I was living with my girlfriend for 6-9 months before we became an official couple. We have never lived apart and we've been together 12 years now.

  • Most unlikely scenario in the world

It happened to me whilst living in France, ok it wasn't a brewery but a very large vineyard ;o))

  • Where is the never option?
