How to set up a poll?

When you start a new posting, scroll down and the last option should say "start a poll". Select that and follow the instructions.

I just tried this, and I still can't work out how to do it. When I tick the box to set up a poll, nothing happens. I thought it would refresh, and give me some boxes to type poll options into, or something.
