• Writer, producer

As a writer you will need to sort out publishing (or to make life easy just publish yourself / copyright control) - register with PRS/MCPS (you might be already from your previous stuff) so that they collect all royalties from radio, TV, film sync and so on.

Publishing is the most important, as this is where you can make some decent cash.

As a writer, if and when the tune get's used on some Japanese ad from Honda scooters or McDonald's promotion in Canada - you will need to sort out a one off usage fee (for a fixed period and area - ie: 6th months / UK usage - or 1Yr - UK usage) with the record company.

As a producer you would usually get a one off fee and - if you are lucky 'points' (but seems you are already a writer/co-writer you might not) - you might even do this bit for free.

    Everything is negotiable.

I'll also record their vocals here as place holder, with the final vocals and mastering being done by a big studio.

Nothing much to say to that, you can charge them a studio fee if you want (but you probably already know that !) - or do it for free - or whatever - but nothing here to contract yourself into.

Also as a performer (you would be playing one of these so called electronic piano synthesisers?) you will also earn some cash from mechanicals and performances (everytime the tune is played on the radio - or even live - this is something you need to sort out with PPL.
