Managed to give up for a few years cold turkey, had a blip a few weeks back with really bad migraines, which has bought back cravings. Wanting a cigarette so badly right now :(
The thing that gets me craving a spliff are these pains I get in my leg now and again, my legs got absolutely annihilated in a car crash when I was 17, so there is a lot of heavy scar tissue inside the muscle, and nerve damage to my lower right leg. It doesn't kick in that often, but if I do some kind of activity my leg isn't used to for a long period of time, then it can be absolutely agony, almost to the point of me being unable to walk, and I have an pretty damn high tolerance for pain. Anyways, the point is that over the counter pain killers do a big fat fuck all, the only thing that has any effect is a powerful prescription anti-inflammatory called Diclofenac-sodium (known sometimes as Voltorol), a strong joint, or sitting there and trying to rest it whilst in immense pain.
Sadly very often the Weed is the more easily obtainable alternative, since my legs healed up when I was younger i've hated taking pain killers for anything, I was on such a heavy cocktail of them for nearly two years its pretty much put me off them for life lol.
