Its becasue they use angular contact bearing which you can apparently adjust just like cup and cones. One guy at work has had hsi for years with no problems mine came loose after just a few hours riding. Spoke to ison and they claimed I was the only person who had a problem ever. Just got some better quality bearings from a bearing shop and they now work fine.
