won't take much paint, i bet you could use all the materials from all your frames melted down to make one normal sized frame* ;-)

can i assume from the clamour no one else is going to be able to recommend a bike repainter who doesnt charge the earth? Dont need anything funky, just something that will turn my bike a color other than cordroy brown. i heard theres some guy in hackney whose good and does it for £50 but cant remember his name... dagnammit.

I can empathise with this guy - also being stuck in the nursery. its like starting high school again

Well Armourtex is £64, that's not much more than Paolo's £50 (which are hypothetical 'cos he seems hard to get hold of).

He could well have just joined this thread after dicki started it for him.

Mario Vaz is in Hither Green, South East London, I'm guessing you're talking about Armourtex, but they're powdercoaters, rather than painters/stove enamellers :)

yeah he sprayed and rechromed a frame for me, looks great. was 40 pounds though because i wanted chrome ends and the lugs lined. even so it was still a good price.
