• Do you open the rear triangle at the RH dropout?

Yep. The small keystone you can see on the dropout is part of a thick plate which unscrews from the inside of the dropout. Solid and simple solution.

fixed belt drive on a trials? or can you get freewheel for b/d

The cog is standard free hub compatible, I'll be putting it on a Hope Pro II singlespeed hub for a dishless rear wheel. I plan on getting a Alfine hub compatible cog when my legs get old(er), and want gears :)

those bars are amazing!! what are they?

Dunno what they are called but they are always on tut'bay. They are made by Trigon, and are about the same price as carbon bars plus quality stem, but without the worry of the stem clamp/carbon bar potiental weak spot.

Put everything together this morning. I had to leave the headset cups in the freezer over night, to get the buggers in the headtube (grrrr).
The metal flaked beige looks really nice with the hope gunsmoke components, and the finished product should look good with white grips, saddle, rims (velocity blunt 29er), and pedals.
I have a pair of fat (2.55") WTB Weirwolfs to cushion the fully rigid ride somewhat. Really want to get this finshed, so I can hit the trals :)
