I guess people realise that a 'keirin brake' is simply a rear brake mounted to a U shaped piece of metal, bolted to the frame using two brake clamps?

i'm sure they do, but the diacomp ones are really beautifully engineered and work amazingly well

True, I bought one just for the mount. Using it with a campag brake. But I am considering machining up a few. It would only cost a few pence, be much less than a tenner including all the mounts and bolts if I did a few. Any market I wonder?

yeah definitely! do it!
Hi,
after searching for it with no results I'm trying with a new thread.
I need an oval Keirin Brake Kit (black) like http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=188_482_1209&products_id=3751
... is there a shop in Europe that has theese?
Edit: Also would be interesting to know if anybody had good/bad experiences with it or if drilling a brake hole would be the better way
Thanks
