let me get the full pics up first - forgot to mention - i'll put new sprocket and chain on the new rear wheel - with a 49/51 or 53 ring upfront - i'm thinking you'd want 20 to 23 ish - it'll look more TT then aswell
so if you have a gear you'd partcularly want (or 2 as it's fixed fixed flip flop at rear) enquire - i'll see what sprcokets i've got
as a guide the frame with Bb and headset alone got to be 125 to 150 - wheels pair - 100, brakes 30 , seat post 15, crank and ring 30,
add in cable, cage, chain sprockets tyres tubes levers stem all just nominal value - 20 ishi love the bike and would like it to stay together (not least so i can do as 1 transaction) but am happy to pull everything apart if need be
-
• #6
what size are both the frames?
-
• #7
the pink is not irrelevant as i don't have it anymore -
the blue i'll get measurments up soon - from memory 52 on top tube (that's about right for me and as a guide i ride a 56/57 on the top tube for a normal road bike)
-
• #8
sorry double negative - it' not rellevant - it was about 52 on the top
-
• #9
do you have a 23t sprocket available?
-
• #10
sorry bit of a botch post as was too eager to get it up . causing confusion - so i' m going to say 350 posted - i'll get all pics, specs, and sprocket / ring sizes and everything together in a much more intelligable post later today
if no one's interested then i'll start sperate posts for the sperate components on their won terms later

hey... very interested in the cranks... what size is the chain ring and how much do you want for it?
-
• #19
ring is 49 - i have identical 51 and 52 here aswell - 180mm and alloy SS bolts
i'm going to try to sell bike as a whole first so not eager to split right now - but if no interest in next week i'll start to break and list seperately.
-
• #20
my memory must be pretty shot - the top tube is 56 cm
-
• #21
No interest?
i'm pulling the offer of the bike - it's breaking time - i'll start new thread for some of the pieces. - crank, bars, post, wheel, frame etc.
-
• #22
I believe I bought the pink lo pro on ebay from you ages ago,.. - which has been sold to a friend now :)
-
• #23
Would like the cranks when you split. I'll watch out for the new thread.
-
• #24
2riskyyy - yes not so long ago was it - nice frame - i'm loving the look - especially of that Orbit with the sloping top tube and the 24" front wheel - but i can't put in the miles on them - hence the sale of that and now this blue one - i'm just getting to the new thread now -
-
• #25
oh yes - was it Ok the pink low pro ? - i was promised a build picture too!! ; )
relive the lemond fignon '89 battle
the bike on the left sirius (part of orbit i think)
will sell as bits - but take offers on all the bits together (otherwise known as a full bike) first
it's a really nice ride, very light (i'll post weight later) and responsive but with the miles i'm doing it's killing me (55 on this yesterday had to call it a day due to comfort issues)- so setting up a touring frame i've got here for same duties - something more comfortable and longer and higher. (yes i must be getting old )
531c (with campag dropouts as i remember- road at rear not track fork end)- BB and seatpin and headset are campag (chorus i think) bars are item chop / flop - brake levers CLB (set up cabled through the top to allow up and down - forward and rear adjustment of bars - you can just adjust the slack on the loop on the top of the bars), matching bag with a couple more 650 tubs will come with it.
front wheel is cd4 (open pro precursor) on primato hub -
i'll get more pics up soon - with these some changes - durace 180mm 7410 crank (larger high end stronglight ring on), brooks not included, pedals not included, tribars not included - stem will be mavic item. i'm also replacing rear wheel for a new item (black rim so it matches the front. and the wheel seen here is more of a toruing rim and part of a pair i need for the tourer fixie) see eg. of the the new wheel i'll add on ebay item number 190321320932
everything is in great condition - this was aparently owned by some mid-famous racer back in the day - it has his name on the side (i'll check who - as if it really matters)
dry miles only since i've had - stored in warm dry indoors
i'm going to get it and make the changes - and post more pics and details later today
