Hi ted, We've met I think. I work in EC2 and live in E9 - European fixie central. That is exactly what I mean. It is dangerous/challenging in other ways than being crazy colourful. All those newbies who'd be better off on a SS or a hybrid, but they need a track bike to fit in...
Of course kids are not going to find out from ZDF/BBC/iTV to start with, but it's all part of the same hype that you just contributed to. Rant over. Sorry I tried to steal the thread.
