Hi guys,
this might not be exactly bike porn. The reason i post in here is because it seems to be the most watched thread and I'd like to find out more about this favourite bike of mine.
Here is what i know:
the brand says chick (imagine how hard this is to google...) and there is a sticker that says: custom built in London England or something along those lines
It is made from Reynolds 531 tubing and seems to be handpainted, the compnents are original exept for the saddle and the NOS Camapa/Mavic wheelset (tubulars), that i put on.
The deraileur is a suntour superbe, the brakes are campa with Weinmann levers. Seatpost says Tahei Compe. It came with a single blade (58 teeth), and the geometry of the frame and the handlebars indicate that it is an early time trial bike. There is a 77 at the end of the frame number, slightly detaced, could this be the year of manufacture?
If any of u know this brand or bike, let me know what you do, would be much appreciated. And I hope u don't mind me posting it here...
