Columbia were covering too many bases in the stage today, good effort mind.. chapeau Ivanov, Roche and Hincapie so close to taking yellow jersey.. shame about Cav but the right decision in the end y'know
I hope LA finishes the TDF, but i can't see him winning a stage or the GC this year, he has no influence over Astana and the peloton, just a few loyal riders like Popovych and old friends. His twitter site appears very open and honest though, and i get the impression that he does enjoy being back in the mix, despite the tension surrounding his ambitions. The TT at Annecy will be his nemesis y'know..
