to sell it on here you'll have to drop the price by another good 40 quid at least. Having something refurbished won't necessarily pay back what you had to spend, a lot of people actually prefer seeing the original paintjob.
try ebay if you're that desperate to get top dollar for it.

I have for sale a beautiful vintage Carlton steel handmade frame- built late 60's/early 70's and professionally re-furbished.Minor cosmetic blemishes from being put together before I bought it and stored... Been meaning to put it together but not had the time or cash so I'm re-releasing it into the wild. Exact model unknown but it's got some nice lugs including the wrap-over seat stay, with holes for mudguards/racks:[/COLOR]
Tubing: Steel ('craftsman built')
Size Seat: 22.5" (centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube)
Diameter (of seat tube): 25 mm
Size Top: 22.5" (centre of seat tube to centre of head tube)
Chainstay: 17.75" (centre of bottom bracket to centre of dropout)
Rear drop out width: 120 mm
Lugs: Cast, medium point, includes wrap-over seat stay
BB: Threads are good
Fittings: Eyes for mudguards / racks; Braze ons - cable guides / stops for brakes / gears.
Finish: Colour - Red. Transfers - 1977 style. Head tube badge - original 'Carlton' badge
This frame is for 27" wheels.
