  • OK. I got closer with the last search. I like the Kiwi and I am feeling deep urges for the Masi bikes. But still torn on whether to build/assemble from frame (this will be my third, I've built two MTBs so far, so it can't be harder right?) or go OTP...

    My big problem is not knowing the frame manufacturing habits.** I'm a big fella, 6'3" and 190lbs (think Clydesdale), I'll be commuting with a courier bag and portfolio or cameras, so I need something sturdy**, so it might be something burly like a Charge. I'd hate to buy something beautiful only to feel it fold underneath me.

    You pretty much just described me as well mate, i'd recommend you leave the flimsy stuff and look at the likes of:

    A Charge Plug
    A Surly Steamroller
    A Volume Cutter

    Or anything similarly tough and chunky :)
