I just found this thread, it would appear I'm two days behind everything these days.
I was looking at the Felt and the Dolan about 6 months ago. I went with the pig ugly one, the Dolan, mainly because I was getting bored of seeing thousands of desperately pretty, dainty bikes about the place. For me the Dolan is grotesque and utilitarian but has a strange charm for that very reason. It rides like a dream, responsive, agile and fast, much nicer than my old steel frame.
I'd recommend the Dolan for it's brutality and the fact that not one head turns as you ride by, you're almost invisible. I believe you have to suffer a little for your art.
