I think the recession will help us all by making the little man all about great customer service. Hurrah for the little man, boo hiss to the enterprise with their massive debt profile!

  • and it takes nothing to click the button for £1 extra charge to have your info removed from DNS.

If you think I'm really out of order I'll be at wests tonight and we can have a chat :)

BTW that's not in invite for a fight lol

I'm going to have you Benjam you cunt! I'm goin to brake your frame and saw through your rims! :) Only joking, of course, I'm not so outraged that I care. I'm all for a little Internet vigilantism, but I think everyone deserves the right of reply before being shredded online. At this point it could still be an unfortunate misunderstanding, so I'm just councelling caution before a forum boycott/lynching takes effect.
Obviously I hope the OP gets his money or his shorts, if not, lets shred the fucker.
Oh and thanks for the invite Benjam, but I live in Bath, wests is a bit far.

  • I have dealt with this company and received fantastic service, shall I start a thread.

that's great... but the point is that Dander wasn't getting through on the company's info so I gave him another offer.

I'll defend my actions to the grave :)

  • I think it's a tad harsh. 1 person having a bad time from a company hardly makes said company shit.

what did I do that was so hard... the get em boys was tongue firmly in cheek. If I couldn't get through official company channels (to be fair the company could be frozen) i would still want an explanation. I've done nothing legally wrong as it was public information and I've given a fellow cyclist a life-line to get his cash back!

    Sheeeesh

  • Moral's.
    ;-)

my morals are angelic. The public domain is the most dangerous thing on earth:

vote no to the NHS spine recording all your details (access rights aren't sorted properly)
say no to e-voting (you will be able to link back addresses)
vote against RFID enabled or biometric passports (i can scan your passport and determine your nationality from 100m then kidnap you for ransom)
free Gary MacKinnon (human rights require him to be tried in his own nation, by a jury of his peers with charges based on evidence that is beyond reasonable doubt)

  • Sorry to hear about this Dan. Personally, I would trust a website that had paypal etc, hope you can recover you cash through them.

    Hey! LFGSS uses PayPal!

Though I get what you mean.

A merchant account is £50 per month + phone bill, and then is a per transaction fee.

Lower costs overall than PayPal, but only if you have a turnover to justify the bank giving you a merchant account, which is usually in the GBP 70,000 per year and higher mark.

Which in the case of a shop should be a very low barrier. But for a dodgy site is obviously a very higher barrier.

  • Hey! LFGSS uses PayPal!

And I want moy money back!

Only kidding, I meant that more often than not, when a site has paypal they're trustworthy and even if they're not, you're covered.

  • You're always covered... just get your bank to issue a chargeback.

  • Isn't it about time the company/website/person everyone rants about comes on and defends themselves?

  • Mmm bit of a one sided witch hunt, maybe the man with a CCj has had to get rid of his staff and is running it on his own, been let down by suppliers and a little over run with life.

cancel your payment Chalk it down to bad luck and move on.

Unless there is a burning i am not taking sides

  • yeah to be honest, no offence to the OP's intelligence, but i would never in a million years consider buying a bike from that website.

Obviously no offence to your intelligence but.... even if you did wish to, they currently have no bikes for sale ;)

  • anyone want his address?
im out to get the little cunt meself.
    interesting fellow he is..

  • you're an idiot^
