I picked up this old Klein attitude on ebay a while back, plan is to turn it into a nice lightweight singlespeed.
The paintwork was pretty scruffy so I'd planned to get it repainted in one of the nice triple tone Klein paint schemes, but when stripped the frame looks pretty nice as bare metal, maybe with some black decals.
Anyone had experience of keeping a aluminium frame shiny once its polished up to a nice sheen, I'm about halfway through getting the main tubes looking good, and its taking quite a lot of time and autosol. Was thinking to lacquer it with a rattle can, or maybe getting armourtex to do it, any recommendations welcome.
armoutex and powder coat it with a clear lacquer
rattle can will flake off like no man's business.
awesome frame btw, it would be shame not to do a proper job.
