i was struggling for comfort on my lo pro but found these and they've been really good:

i think they're the stoker handlebars for a tandem and had a decent rise on them without getting into BMW bar territory..
they are down as reduced due to slight surface tarnishing but mine have got a tiny bit on the underside that you can't see..
might be worth having a look for a tenner?
