Hey all, my birthday is at the end of this month and my friend's is about four days later. I was planning on having a shindig (Ved, you said you'd make my cake, I hope you're still in for that! [carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting]) somewhere somewhat central so that all our peeps can make it.
I'd like to BBQ. I was thinking a park, a buncha people, and booze in plastic containers but a) don't know if that's possible and b) what if it rains? So I'm turning to the forum to request suggestions for venues that we can converge on who WON'T CHARGE to have us. I can deal with not being able to bring out own booze so long as we can cook out.
Suggestions, an attendee list and what food you all think rocks and would like to share with friends. Thanks!
