^There's no very brief answer to that but: it's more about Arsestrong being with Bruyneel (the team director) who he was with for all his TdF wins. That Contador was already there, already a Tour winner and already the team leader for the Tour was obviously going to cause problems but the publicity for Astana has been enormous. The chances are one of them will win the Tour.
