• For a plethora of reasons that I'm sure you aren't interested in, I've decided to sell sell sell my way through my collection. Streamlining if you will.

    So for sale...

    Geoffrey Butler Track Bike.

    • 56cm Reynolds 653 Geoffrey Butler frame and fork, resprayed by Sam Fish, in perfect nick bar a small chip in one of the chain stays and a little damage on seat clamp. Drilled at the front. 27.0 seat tube, 1" headset. Fairly tight clearences, but no toe-overlap with medium clips.

-YELLOW spinnergy Rev X, also painted by Sam fish, in PERFECT CONDITION. Fucking amazing wheel (unless it explodes I guess). pink Gran Compe SS tyre.

-Rear White H+son Formationface Rim, laced 3x to a 32 hole White single fixed PHIL hub with double butted silver spokes and silver nipples. As new. Not ridden more then 100 miles in its life. With white Soma Everwear, which has seen many many many more miles then the wheel.

    • 19T EAI cog.

    • Tange loose bearing headset (small stack height).

    • Fluted Stem, risers, yellow champ grips, white charge spoon seat, system Ex post.
-Shimano 105 front brake caliper as new, with Paul Components E-lever and white outer cable.

    • Shimano UN54 107mm BB.

    • BLB own brand white 48 T crank and ring. Well used. Truthfully this is totaly shagged. the left crank creaks and the pedal thread on the right is fairly fucked. I planned to change this as soon as I had a bit of cash, but the bike has barely been ridden, so I never got round to it. It would HAVE to now be changed.

Overall the geometry is amazing, and with those wheels it glides like a beauty. I did plan to put in a Phil BB and Dura Ace cranks to complete the set, but as I mentioned before I just don't ride it, I just ride the lo-pro. It a beautiful ride, and visiually one of the best looking bikes in london, even if I do say so myself. The paint scheme is lovely, the fades and colour quality is perfect. Kudo to Sam Fish for the work.

I don't currently have any built up pictures of the bike, but here are some of the frame and front wheel. If there is interest I'll take some built up pics tomorrowish.

Oh, I will split if people are interested. I won't sell the wheel independently of the frame, but i will sell the frame independently of the wheel (and then keep the wheel - because i love it). I'm looking for aproximately 800 for the whole bike.

    Also for sale...

    56cm Reynolds 531 1979 Carlton pro AM 12 5 speed road frame.
I've had the frame powdercoated white, but the forks keep their original chrome and reynolds stickers. The chrome is in good condition, the powdercoating is in pretty good condition. Comes with a naff tange headset.

I used the bike as my first fixed, its a nice frame, with lovely geometry. Would make a cool first fix or secondly fix, or could be a resto project and restored to its former beauty. As one of the last ever handmade carltons built in the Worksop Workshop, its a nice piece of history, and it deserves to be ridden. Its never had front mech boss as it was designed as a 5-7 speed racer, but has a rear mech hangar on the back.

    Offers over £70

    Sorry for the wank pictures

    And lastly...
