Yup, I'll be doing this.
52 mile challenge route for me but I'm pretty unfit!
I think I have a spare booked place for the 26 mile scenic route starting from Chelsea as one of my friends have dropped out. Otherwise, you can book on the day at a higher price, but it's all for a charitable cause so who cares?

Sorry about your friend; donations are so important to these researchers as they rely entirely on voluntary sources of money.

damn - only doing the 26, feeling like a lightweight now. great some of you other guys doing it as well - super worthy cause. weather def looks shit tho.

I did it yesterday! It was awesome. Really gruelling, especially in the east, that wind was a nightmare.

I even saw a couple of people doing it fixed, well done to them, that's a bit too hardcore for me

Saw this ride around Blackfriars & St Pauls when driving through.
Well done whoever did it.

it was good, v windy but really good fun. it wasnt too bad doing it fixed as there was plenty of refreshments/pubs along the way. it was all about getting the medal at the end!

Anyone doing it this year? I'm planning on doing the 52 mile again. I was going to start at Thames Barrier again but wanted to see if there are other peeps doing it.

yeah I'm gonna do the 52 mile one from Chelsea, doing it fixed this time. Time to give up smoking for a month again

im thinking of doing it this year , a friend has already gone in for the 52 mile run from chelsea..hmm good motivation for the smokes too!

on the 52 mile ride from ham house with my old man and my lady.
gonna have to take the average pace down a shade.
looks like a good route though, i always like cruising round london rather than caning it on the commute.
