Anyone fancy giving a few tips (via pm) to a complete newby?
I got a miranda ms2 super and pentax p30 a few weeks ago, first real camera's (previously relied on mobile phone). I've read throught the manuals etc but not had any film developed yet.
i'm off to spain on wednesday then up to ventoux for the stage so i was hoping to take one of the cameras and take some photo's of the stage. I'm aware that i will probably come back with a load of blurry crap.
what i'm after is just some basic rules of thumb, i'm beginning to get my head around the various aspects of aperture, exposure etc. but if someone could give me a few pointers i'd appreciate it.
I'm trying desperately not to fall into the trap of reading magazines and convincing myself i need to buy a load of stuff (same thing happened with cycling), rather i'd prefer just to try and get some decent results with the stuff i already have
