September 27th Grass Track Race-5

Just caught wind of this from Keir of www.cyclingclubhackney.co.uk/ . Its going down at the Marbley Green Festival on the 27th of Sep at 2 o-clock. I've done a few of these now and had a lot of fun for free! There are even prizes!

All you need to do is turn up with your bike, sign in and race. There are usually flying laps, devil takes the hind most and scratch race's(you will need a Helmet for the race's with other people). All age's welcome.

I just bumped in to Kier on my way home from work. He says that there should be around 4 races in August, all on hackney downs.

These were great fun last year, it would be good to see a few faces from the forum giving it a go.

As for tyres, Ed's right...... slicks all the way!
