huh? why? the climbing in the vid is arduos (as is climbing with a geared bike). The flats and downhills are fast and intense. I love riding fixed 'with miles and miles of open road at your disposal'. so all you guys just ride in the city? never really though of the distinction... I ride my bike....
if you like doing that, that's fine, but frankly, it's easier and more comfortable on a geared bike, a handful of forumenger did a long ride (180 miles I think) from London to Dalwood on fixed wheel bicycle with moustache bar (some at least).
they love the ride and enjoy it, but they said they'd enjoy it even more if they have more than 1 speed, especially on the treacherous hill.
