• Okay, thing is, I have a rather crappy - but ok for this bike - wheelset.
It is the wheelset that comes with a stock '08 Bianchi Pista (solo rim / bianchi labled hubs)

Now, the rearhub's fixed-side thread has simply died and I want to replace it without having to buy new spokes (yes that would almost exceed the bike's value in the end..)

Does anyone know what the flange's size might be? I am not in the same country as the bike at the moment so I cannot measure it myself.

Or is there maybe a hub that's identical to it? ...I am confident they just put "Bianchi" on some Novatec / Formula hub.

    Thanks!

  • same as miche.

  • not to hijack the thread, but I just got a bianchi pista frame and need some wheels for it - what should i buy? I cycle around london, up and down hills and on our lovely crappy holey roads so want a fixed wheelset that that will stand up to it? any suggestions please? I had a pista before, off the peg, but that was nicked :( so i am having a go at building one up. thanks!
