Unipack / Create / Sports Direct singlespeed track bikes?

i love people defending unipaks, it generally takes the form "i have had to replace (and taking 3 or 4 from this list)- wheels/brakes/bearings/cranks/chain/stem/hubs/cables/forks/pedals but it works fine now"

FFS these things should not fail within the first few months of owning a new bike

My friend's Unipack that he was given recently is doing fine, because he's not riding it.
