I'm tight and didn't want to stump up the cash for BT to install/reconnect a phone line so I went with Sky. Got their broadband and I really can't complain. It's quick, reliable and not particularly pricey. They've got my bill wrong a couple of times though (for the phone line) and they're quick to rectify mistakes and throw in extras to keep you sweet. The helpline is cheap and they're waaaaaaaay more helpful than BT.
I never thought I'd be praising Sky. What the fuck has happened to me?
