on a serious note, missus is looking for a laptop, shes not very computer literate so only uses computers for checking mail and facebook etc etc you recon it is a little overkill buying a macbook rather than a cheap new laptop?

£400 is a reasonable price for that than those netbook, least you're paying for a full-on computer than a smaller one without a DVD-RW.
