Hope its all going well!
I'm trapped inside revising, but would love to be out enjoying the best of the weather/ tour de France or Cricket! I have got a good incentive though, as if I pass I'm off to New Zealand on my bike.
However, at the moment despite having accumulated a small collection of bikes, non of them have pannier rack islets! I am hoping that the amassed wisdom on this ever generous forum may be able to help me with my current dilemma! As I really need a reliable way of carrying all my gear.
I've read about some racks that are mounted on the axel of the rear wheel? Are this any good? they sound a bit risky to me. Or are there any other options I should be exploring?
Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and start looking for a bike with specific eyelets and with all the long distant tourer bells and whistles?
Any help gratefully received!
