Haggerston Baths:

I am not sure if they could get the baths back into use, there was asbestos present.

**DCSF grant of £5m for Haggerston Pool
**Haggerston Pool was one of 101 projects across England to secure funding under the Department of Children Schools and Families's co-location scheme which aims to provide communities with access to multiple services under one roof. This £5 million is a first step towards achieving Council plans which total £21m to re-open the swimming pool alongside a GP surgery, health and fitness facilities and arts and exhibition space.
