Just received a set of poles from a ebay shop that were advertised as 7075 alloy, but are actually labelled as 5086 Alloy, is there actually much in it in terms of strength and weight between the 2 varieties? (the wikipedia entries don't enlighten me much) Does anyone have personal experience of the differences?
Annoyingly i REALLY need these poles for Cambridge, so i don't want to return them, but was planning on trying to get the seller to give me free postage on another order as he fucked up the ebay listing.
