yeah but think of it. you can't fit a volvic water bottle in a bottlecage!
i think this design probably isn't 100% practical -- i'm sure it would slide around annoyingly, and maybe knock your knees or whatever. but it's a smart solution to a problem (admittedly not a huuuuge problem) that everyday cyclists encounter.
