Ok, so i'm having to start a "oh-crap-i-bought-another-frame-with-my-council-tax-money" fund. And this is first to go.
I've been riding it as a bit of a rain/pub/beater bike. The frame is actually quite nice, but is a little beaten up. It looks like maybe the rear bridge has been replaced at some point, as there's some slight denting in one of the stays, and there's been a dodgy attempt at matching the paint. Oh dear. But it's been absolutely fine for me!
The parts aren't too bad either, they were just lying around basically. So we've got:
1950 Hercules Path/Track frame 54 st, 56 tt
F.Wheel has an old 105 hub laced to MA2 (i think)
R.Wheel has an IRO track hub snowflaked to a beaten up cxp30 (still runs true though)
Chainset comprised of a righthand SR Royal track crank 165mm, with a cheap black left crank, and a blackspire chainring
shimano sealed BB
Gatorskins f&r
VP pedals with purple tioga toeclips, and laminated double straps
cheapy kona seatpin
battered old concor (but still super comfy)
cheapy stem and risers
SKS mudguards (if you're thinking the front one looks like it's fitted wrong, it's just so there's no toe overlap)
*a front brake can be fitted, i probably have one i can throw in with it
£240 ono
It's currently sitting in Cavendish, pining for someone to come ride it in the rain.
PM for any more details or just pop in. It'll be first come, first served i'm afraid. No dibs.
