biddle bikes were also doing them cheap, but they might have run out.

    google is your friend.

i found that but i neglected to say i need a 52-54cm frame, which wins doesnt have.
    nor does holcros

Looks really tacky imo might just tape it up with electrical tape, this wont damage the lacquer or paint will it?

    "HTFU" is the stock answer

  • You can get 1m wide self adhesive plastic in various colours from fred aldous in manchester for about £2 a metre used this to blank out the graphics on my fuji 07 when i had it.... Might be worth looking at, looks neater than tape imo....

  • Thanks for the tip dangermuss that shop is just round the corner from me.

  • Haha, i now own this frame, and it looks like this...

i started out with just the frame though so not really upgraded, just gone for a custom build.

Edit: Just realised that photo was taken before i changed the pedals and chain and built my new back wheel which is a DA high flange on an OpenPro CD

  • Slack chain.

  • Im looking to get a Fuji Track 08, Can you still get them anywhere? its looking like biddle is sold out.

Any shops in London you would recommend to check out?

Not having much luck looking online.

  • have you tried winstanley!

  • Hey Wallie

ive tried looking on winstanley and they only have the 49cm in stock and im in need of the 61cm. holcross appear to have some 61cm but in the picture the bike looks like the 2009 model, whats up with that.

i emailed them to ask but no reply.

    OUR PRICE: £379.99

    ?

  • the price probably have changed recently, netherless it's only £30 more frankly.

  • I was quoted £350

  • Nowt wrong with the Fuji saddle. Just done the Dunwich Dynamo on it - no problem although it does look a bit shite....

  • I've picked up a fuji track 09 on't cheap (someone i know who got it on insurance as his only 'fixed' option) in anticipation of it being my winter beater - let my shiny shiny bikes (and hubs especially!) survive the grit this year - all i've done is put a charge knife on (my saddle of choice), put some hardcase tyres on, slapped a 17 on the back and changed the stem and bars (hussefelt and some bontrager overzise bulls) and a cane creek brake... all stuff already in the bits box though.

I'm finding it a bit rubbery compared to some of my other rides and I might stick some different forks on but it'll do as a beater - if you're getting one t start out on it'll do you great - shame it's a bit ugly! I'll slap some pics up at some point...

  • This is my first post at fgss. I am in the process of ordering a Fuji 2009 from Evans (my first fixed), as they ship internationally (living in Sweden). I got a few questions:
-As it comes with a 15 cog, and they don't stock individual cogs, from where will I be able to get a 17 cog that fits the Fuji? Or should I go with an 18?
-Is it difficult to change from the 15 to a 17? Or should I leave it to a bike shop?
-I am 193cm, and they recommended me a 61cm, is that what you should recommend as well?

    Thanks in advance

    Per

  • to be honest, i'm about your height and the 61 track is a bit too small for me.

the sizes seem to come up small as the seat tube measurement is to the top of the tube, it is 59c, centre of bottom bracket to centre of top tube. but the top tube length is decent at 59, jus i have a lot of seatpost showing and a lot of rise on my stem, which makes the bike look horrifically ugly.

sorry if that's all a bit confusing

  • Per.. im 190cm and ride the 58 (it is a bit small... so the 61 should fit.... maybe....)

the cogs can be changed.. im running 17 at the moment.. its nice! (but they are hard to take off first time... Rota-fix is the best way)

  • oh.. and Tjena!

  • Thanks for your input pete and snoops, and tjena pete.

Is there any online shop that would sell a 17 cog fitting this bike? Link, please.

    Cheers

  • Almost every cog will fit. There should not be any problems. MAke sure you get 1/8th not 3/32 though.

  • velosolo?

Steer clear of the miche, track changing ones if you're riding street, they're usually fine but can come a bit loose due to the 2 separate parts.
