LMAO.
I think that one we might have to sell direct and not via SJS. They might not appreciate our contribution to their online shop of something likely to offend their current market!
Freaking awesome though. Good work.

Just out of interest how do you know which colours and sizes to order, or is that just production in terms of the designs, not the shirts themselves?

We sold 350 shirts last year, and the size split across the designs was uncannily the same.
% splits of sizes across all designs:
12% Small
56% Medium
23% Large
10% Extra LargeI've used 75% of the votes as the quantity per design, and then split the quantity by the percentages above.
For 3 designs that could justify it I then included ladies sizes too.
The designers selected the colours. And because these tended to be unavailable in Bamboo and Bamboo doesn't have ladies sizes, I've opted instead for a quality vintage style soft cotton with extra strength stitching.
In total there will be 1,300 shirts or thereabouts (there's a margin on the production +- 5%).
I'm having to get a personal loan out for £8k to cover this, it's a scary gamble even with the faith that the market is there. All should be good though, I think the demand exceeds the supply, and given that the 1,300 shirts cover 16 designs, we're only averaging 80 shirts per design. There will actually be fewer of these shirts than there were last year because of the variety.
I'm pretty stoked about the vintage cotton too. I only hope that the quality meets my expectations.
Nearly there !!!!
5 done, 1 to go !!!!!!!!!
