Awww!
Why dont you pop into battersea dog's home, they're doing cats as well, or mayhew animal home where there's constantly kittens? -
• #3
Have you tried the Cats Protection League or other service.
I realise that they like to do checks on potential owners and may expect a donation, but it is all in aid of a very good service.

Ha! Those fuckers. They came round to our house and interviewed us before refusing to give us a cat. What a joke. Almost as though we were being interviewed as potential foster parents or something.
In the end they decided we lived too close to a main road and we failed. Cos cats are so stupid like, they are going to play with the traffic every night. Shame some councils don't take as mush trouble looking after kids. They could learn a lot from those Nazis

get a greyhound, sleeps all day ignores you heaps unless it wants something; just like a cat. A big cat mind you but a cat.

battersea dogs and cats doesnt look to favourably on potential cat adopters that doesnt have a garden. I have a roof terrace though! and there's that whole interview process as well. I just want someone to give me a spare kitty with no hassle. It'll be loved to no end.

We had a really good experience with them. I agree with the whole interviewing thing though. It would be a pretty shit thing if the CPL didn't try to protect the cats after they left their care. Just handing them out to all comers would be dubious practice. After all you are essentially becoming a foster family for an animal that probably would not be able to fend for itself over the long term. I guess the main road thing might be a bit harsh but if they've had to make a decision on that and they've erred on the side of caution then that is entirely their perogative.
Not sure calling them Nazi's is fair. As far as I'm aware the CPL have never governed a European nation under a totalitarian leader or seen how many people you can stick in a very hot oven.

Where do you live? I got mine from Celia Hammond - http://www.celiahammond.org/ - they're in Canning Town and Lewisham.
They like to rehome kittens in pairs though so they don't get stressed out.
I totally recommend getting a couple of feral ones, turning them from furious rage-creatures into hugely affectionate bundles of fluff is awesome.
