Did'nt like the look of ity, but was'nt sure so did'nt want to flame it on the interweb.
I dont feel you need to build your own bike, or have an indepth knowledge of bike mechanics, to enjoy cycling. But its difficult to get started if you dont know what you like/want.
@bodieanddoyle. The steamroller is a great quality bike (like most stuff from surly). Its a touch heavy but tough as old boots.
